Conditions

General terms of sale and use of iRotto™ services

These Terms and Conditions govern the repair service for your product provided by iRotto™ – VintiCom Sagl.

1.Service Assistance

VintiCom Sagl will provide assistance for the product as described in the Repair Report, at the indicated rates.

If the intervention is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, a specific service contract, or consumer protection law, VintiCom Sagl does not verify such contracts or laws.

2.Diagnostics and Device Opening

Opening a device to assess/identify the fault, when no repair is carried out, may alter the previous functional and aesthetic condition.

3.Data Responsibility

VintiCom Sagl is aware of the importance of data for customers. Data loss may occur during the intervention and, in some cases, data can be deleted, formatted, or become irrecoverable.

Therefore, it is the customer's exclusive responsibility to back up all data, software, and/or programs on the product and decide whether to delete such data before service.

VintiCom Sagl disclaims any responsibility for loss, recovery, or compromise of data, software, or programs, as well as for loss of functionality of the product or other devices arising from the services provided.

The customer declares that the product does not contain illegal files or data.

4.Collection and Payment

If you do not collect your product and pay any related costs within Thirty (30) days from the communication by iRotto™ – VintiCom Sagl that your product has been repaired, VintiCom Sagl may dispose of it, retain it, and act in accordance with the law.

At the time of collection, the device must be checked for completeness. The laboratory declines any responsibility for claims regarding the aesthetic condition after collection.

5.Spare Parts

VintiCom Sagl may use original, new, or equivalent parts. VintiCom Sagl will retain ownership of the replaced part or product, while the replaced part becomes your property.

Generally, replaced parts are repairable and have value as they can be replaced or repaired by VintiCom Sagl. If applicable law requires VintiCom Sagl to return a replaced part, you agree to pay the additional cost of that part.

6.Estimate Changes

If the repair requires work or spare parts not previously specified, VintiCom Sagl may ask you to approve a new estimate.

If you do not agree to the revised repair costs, VintiCom Sagl may return the product unrepaired and may charge any indicated diagnostic fee.

7.Warranty

Repairs carried out are covered by warranty under the following terms:

Warranty Coverage

  • Parts (Displays, Cameras, etc.): Lifetime warranty
  • Batteries: 3-month warranty

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does NOT cover:

  • Liquid damage: Repairs on devices damaged by water or other liquids
  • Software issues: Operating system or software malfunctions
  • Subsequent damage: Drops, impacts, or other damage after repair
  • Tampering: Work by unauthorized third parties

8.Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swiss law.

For any dispute, the exclusive venue is Lugano, Switzerland.
